Chocolate Peanut Butter & Jelly!!!
How good does that sound, right?! I think this flavor is really fun and just makes you want to have bite! I mean, there is just something about a PMJ that makes you happy and makes you think about when you were a kid…. Those days when all you cared or worried about was just playing with your friends on the playground…. Lots of school memories seem to come to mind when enjoying a PMJ, so try this amazing cake pop flavor and have your PMJ as a dessert or mid-day treat!
What You’ll Need:
- SBC Cake Pop Kit (Pre-order here)
- 1/3 cup of chocolate chips (or you can turn your vanilla cake into chocolate by adding 1/3 cup of cocoa powder)
- Chopped peanuts
- Grape jelly
- Peanut butter flavored melts (you can buy at Michael’s)
How to Make:
By using your SBC Cake Pop Kit, follow the steps in preparing to make the cake pops.
The first alteration you will make is to your cake batter, rather you choose to add chocolate chips or cocoa powder you will want to add whichever to the cake batter before it is baked.(if you choose to add cocoa powder, be sure to add it to the dry cake mix before mixing together with the wet ingredients)
Once you have followed the steps in baking, crumbling, mixing and rolling your cake pops, you will continue following the steps in dunking your cake pops in the peanut butter flavored melts. while the chocolate is still warm you will then cover the cake pop in chopped peanuts. Set your cake pop in the stand to dry and then drizzle your jelly over the top.
