10 Aug Chocolate Caramel Fudge Bars
- 1¼ Cup graham cracker crumbs
- 2/3 Cup chocolate chips
- 1 Packed cup brown sugar
- 1 Stick of butter
- ½ Cup milk
- 1 tbsp. Agave syrup (or honey)
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
Crust: In a medium size microwave safe bowl melt Â½ a stick of butter. Once melted combined with 1 Â¼ cup of graham cracker crumbs. Once butter and graham cracker crumbs are mixed together put the ingredients in a 8 inch baking dish. Using a spatula press down on the graham crackers making a flat tight surface. Bake crust at 350F for 8-10 minutes. Once done, put to the side and let cool.
Fudge: In a small saucepan melt 1/2 stick of butter at medium-high heat. Once the butter is fully melted pour 1 cup of brown sugar, a pinch of salt and mix until all is combined. Once butter, salt and brown sugar are mixed together, bring to high heat until the ingredients begin to boil and continue stirring at high heat until the sugar has dissolved.
Once the sugar has dissolved remove from heat and pour in 2/3 cup of chocolate chips and stir. Continue stirring and add Â½ cup of milk, 1tsp. vanilla extract, 1 tbsp agave (or honey). Once all ingredients are mixed together making the chocolate smooth, pour chocolate over graham cracker crust. Sprinkle salt over chocolate and place in freeze for about 30 minutes. Once the chocolate is hard, Enjoy! (Can be kept in freezer or refrigerator.)
