23 Jul Recipe: Grits Brunch Bar
Grits for breakfast always bring me back home to Alabama. There is something so comforting about them (maybe its the butter and all the tasty toppings) I very rarely make grits but when I do its usually when we are making a big breakfast on the weekend.
I thought about it and how great of an idea to make a “Grits Bar” for brunch one weekend!
If you are having some friends or family over and want to serve something filling yet easy, try making a little grits station with loads of different toppings! Put this brunch all together with some Mimosas and you are all set!
For my little “Grits Bar” I chose to use a shredded mix of cheeses, cherry tomatoes, Bacon and Chives.
Some other options you can choose from is doing just a few different types of cheeses like feta, blue cheese, etc..
I am sure whichever topping you choose will be delicious!
